You know how in old movies that when the husband does something stupid and or crazy the wife packs up the kids and goes back home to mama. Well……I’ve enjoyed my little love affair with knitting but at the moment we are having a argument so I’m moving back home to mama sewing. See I get very very far in a project, then make a silly mistake that I have no idea how to fix, get frustrated and start all over. It never feels this bad to make a mistake with sewing…so back on home I come.

I think those are two very good attempts but maybe I should start with a hat or something to make the failures less devastating.
So I’m picking my military inspired jacket back up and joining the Anise sew along. I missed all of you in the interwebs and thank you so much for all your kind words. Hopefully tomorrow I will have fabric for my Anise picked out and muslin number 2 for the military jacket done!

The knitting looks great to me, but I can imagine how frustrating it must be to see a mistake after weeks of knitting. The Anise sew along looks so appealing!
